Coire = Chur.

"Coire" is the French name for the town, the German version is "Chur". The town in German-speaking Switzerland, as far from French-speaking areas as it is possible to be in Switzerland. Chur is the locally-used name. English-language guide-books and maps now refer to the town as "Chur".
